Honestly, the only one I can think of at the moment is "Permission to recover" by Cheyne Curry. But that takes place in the 70's and isn't so much Don't Ask, Don't Tell as it's Don't tell because we're asking and we'll kick you out and do some nasty things to ya if we hear even a whisper.

But here it is nonetheless http://xenafiction.net/scrolls/chene_curry_permission_to_recover1.html

It should be noted that "Permission to recover" isn't a romance story in a military setting, but rather a military story with a little bit of romance in it. It's there, but no way near the focus of the story.

It's odd. I thought I'd have more stories to mention but I'm drawing a blank.

Two stories that start out Don't ask Don't Tell and lead to romance are Larisa's Semper Fi and Rangerliz's Drango Gap both good stories. Both can be found on the Athenaeum. Pips.

Icehole by Kiera Dellacroix, not really DADT buy Military. However I don't think it's posted any longer. But you may have some luck finding it.

-Ernie Whiting has a series with X&G reincarnated into today Military. That is here at the Athenaeum.

First of all thanks to everyone. I am going to read all the stories and then get back to you about how i found them. :big grin:

@Laziel : I started reading "Permission to recover" by Cheyne Curry, but as you said its more of a military story with a sprinkling of Romance and it couldn't hold my attention.

Try Desert Dreams by Kennedy Northcutt. It is fantastic - humor, action, romance and well written to top it all off. Hope this fits your bill.
