Melissa Good

I'm putting together a Melissa Good page at The Xena Library. I need some help. In her Xena & Gabrielle series and Kerry & Dar series, there are main stories and then short stories; usually holiday vignettes. Without going back and rereading everything, I'm not sure where in the storyline these short stories fit. Does anyone know or have a theory or, even, a guess? If all else fails, I'll just separate the main stories and create a heading for short stories in random order! I'd appreciate any help you can provide.

Thanks,
Rio

I hope she's up for a pop quiz!

I actually got the idea when I heard that she was going to be the next guest. I did the same for their LJ Maas themed show.

Heya,

For the Dar and Kerry series:

A Present Under the Tree is set at Christmas between Book One: Tropial Storm, and Book Two: Hurricane Watch. Dar gets the puppy Chino for Kerry for Christmas.

Ringing in the New Year is set a week after A Present Under the Tree. It is New Year's Eve, and the ladies go shopping (separately) for rings.

The Halloween short Home from the Sea is vry unclear. They are living together in Dar's condo, but tapart from it being October, there's nothing clear to say during which story it's set. It was written during/after Eye of the Storm (Book Three).

Twas the Night before Christmas is set the year after Present Under the Tree. It is also set during after Hurricane Watch. In HW, Dar finds a sword, and mounts it on the wall at home. In NIght before Christmas, two ghostly visitors restore the sword as a gift.

V-Day is the Valentine's Day after their Feruary wedding in Hurricane Watch. Dar and Kerry don't celebrate Valentine's Day.

A Miami New Year's Eve is (I think) set the year after Book Four: Tropical High.

Hope that helps. Also, I might be wrong about some of the timelines, but I think they're mostl right.

Well, I wouldn't say that it's impossible but she hasn't said anything. Currently she's focusing on her Scifi story "Partners" in the aim of getting it published, then she has a few chapters of her third Xena the Merciless story to finish up. But after that, who knows?
