The Vampire List

The Vampire List

Postby Girlblunder » Sun Feb 07, 2010 12:34 am

Hey guys, been miserably sick for about a week now...wondering if you could help me make a vampire story list. I know that I know some but right now I feel so blecky...

Doesn't matter how long they are or if they're sci-fi or superhero or antihero vampire stories...as long as vampires are a big part a story, if not a main character.

Yes, I like theme lists. I often crave certain kinds of fiction. You'll probably see me contribute to/start a few more theme lists in the future.

Hi there,

I'm sorry to hear that you're not doing well. Hope you'll get better soon!

A vampire story list sounds like a good idea - I love vampire stories.

One of my favorite vampire stories out there is from Kodi Wolf: The vampire hunter (http://www.kodiwolf.com/KWLF/thevampirehunterbloodbound.php). The sequel unfortunately wasn't finished - which is a real shame because it's getting hot there....

I'm sure you know Shadowriter's Vampire Series (http://www.academyofbards.org/authors/shadowriter.html).

There are so many more out there. Let's see what the others come up with.

Until someone mentioned JP's Blue Oblivion as the drug lord fiction I'd forgotten about her Vamp fics. There are links on J.P.'s Athenaeum page.

http://www.academyofbards.org/fanfic/j/ ... rion1.html
The Vampire Hunter: Hunting Clarion

http://www.academyofbards.org/fanfic/j/ ... turn1.html
The Vampire Hunter: Return of the Prodigal.
The link to part six may still be broken so at the end of part 5 just replace 5 with 6 in URL.

There are some Vamp specific fan fiction on http://ralst.com/ Passion and Perfection look in The Hallows based on books by Kim Harrison starting with Dead Witch Walking. Pairing is Ivy /Rachel. Blade the Series has a pairing of Krista/Chase - I'm not familiar with that fic at all.

There is also a new Vamp work in progress by sinjenkai (Saffic) on Live Journal called Blood Lust. This is my new vamp fiction obsession. I believe it is an uber for Callie and Natalie, but I don't follow that show. I just like the vamp story. http://community.livejournal.com/caltalia/40250.html

I also tried my hand at the genre with this little ditty:

But achieving fame for locking myself out of my house and/or falling in the bath turned out to be such a hollow victory :sigh2:

I want to know how you are, but I'm taking this back to the appropriate thread. I may digress, but sometimes I also just egress.

I think "The Gabriel Journals" by Inyx is a good one. :)

Thanks to everyone for contributing! This is exactly what I dreamed when I asked for it. When I can focus for longer periods I'll have to see if I have anything left to contribute after all these cool suggestions.

I forgot what I was going to say. I think it had something to do with Vampire Turtles from outer space. Or perhaps Ramen. I'm not sure, I'll get back to you on that.

Postby Rio » Wed May 19, 2010 7:54 pm

I'm looking for a vampire story that hasn't been listed yet. I don't remember much about it. I know that it is set in modern times. Gabrielle is an immortal vampire and I believe that Xena is also but she has lost her memory or else is a reincarnated version of herself and Gabrielle is trying to help her "remember". I think that Gabrielle is keeping Xena in chains but she eventually sets her free because I remember a scene with them shopping at the mall. Also, if I'm not mistaken, Gabrielle has a couple of lackeys living with her in her mansion.

I know it's not much to go on but if it sounds familiar to anyone, please let me know.

Thanks,
Rio

Blood and Roses pops into my mind when I read this post. I think it was on Blue Bears site. Of course, that was a long time ago.
