The Chicago Cubs added to their pitching staff in a big way late Tuesday night, reportedly signing prized free-agent pitcher Jon Lester to a contract. According to Yahoo Sports, the deal is worth $155 million over six years. The deal contains an option for a seventh year in 2021. The Boston Red Sox traded Lester to Oakland Athletics at the trade deadline last summer.
