Meet and Greet

Seriously? No one picked up on this but me? Rosa was born in 1969...69. It was meant to be bold early (thus the b's) 69 You all fail as lesbians (and you fail as a straight girl Michele) if you don't get that. But if you can't, I'm sure I can write you a scene. I'll write Rosa as one of the characters. ;)

Peanut butter cake? Not sure if I ever had one of those *makes a note to look up a recipe*

Women are sexy as hell. So's math but if I had to choose between the two, I'd choose women. Everything about them is sexy. :love struck:

And thus the fascination with Shakira's music videos is explained. LOL.

Yuri, I don't know what to say. Saying "I'm sorry" doesn't seem adequate right now. All I can do is offer a hug :big hug: and my cat to cuddle. :purr: We're here for you if you need us.

I am so sorry, Yuri... I know it's hard, but try and keep your spirits up, do your best to focus on having positive thoughts, hopefully those tests will show that there's room for hope, that there's some treatment that will work, that your sister will have a chance to fight and beat that damned disease. It's understandable that you're all worried and scared. Your sister, you and the rest of your family will be in my thoughts :big hug:

I don't think I can quote every single one of you and say thank you without messing up.
You guys here are really amazing, and if there's no one who tells this to you in your personal lives then let me tell you. You are all amazing and beautiful people. Thank you so much for your support, I'm moved to tears. I'll try and keep my spirits high and hope for the best. But I also know you guys will be here to talk to and support me, and that warms my heart. I don't know how to say thank you enough, but everyone....Thank You :big hug: :big hug: :big hug: :big hug: :big hug:

And I'm proud of your post elaine :) You're officially welcomed to the thread.

Women's backs are sexy too, then again that's one of the things that also gets me about men. and hips, yes. On women personally though, I like the front of the shoulders, where you can see the clavicle and the neck. I like that.

While that may seem like lesbian tendencies, Yuri, I can assure you that Michele will not be hoping the fence anytime soon. She wont even straddle it. She might lean against it, that's about it. Michele can't be a lesbian because of one very important reason.

Okay. The reason why Michele, my best pal and editor of lesbian stories, could never be a lesbian is...oh what's a delicate way to put this...

Michele finds the lower female reproductive organs (aka the vagina or the pussy) to be...well...weird, strange, and a little gross. I often tell Michele how I could happily spend hours examing a woman's vagina and she goes, "Eww."

Therefore Michele could not be a lesbian or even straddle the fence. Q.E.D.

Hmm thats a really good reason not to have lesbian sex, but the possibility of loving another woman in a romantic nature remains. At least I should think so.

Well that's where the other very important reason comes in, and that's because i've met the man of my dreams (or better than i could have dreamed?) okay, i know it sounds cheesy, but i love this guy. we could get married tomorrow and i could never date another soul and i would absolutely happy. I'm very happy as it is. he's my beautiful boy! and I love him!

*ends the cheeiness before everyone pukes*

Something really funny just happened. I'm still cracking up about it.
:ROTFL: :ROTFL: :ROTFL: :ROTFL: :ROTFL: :ROTFL: :ROTFL: :ROTFL: :ROTFL:

So, my roommate and I made dinner tonight for her, her fiance, and myself. Shrimp Alfredo, green beans, and garlic bread. So they get back from church and I turn the water on to boil. Once it starts boiling, I pour the pasta in and look at my cell phone. 9:32pm
I stir while talking to Tabitha and Timothy. I have the garlic bread (which I bought at Piggly Wiggly) sitting beside me on the baking sheet. I ask Tabitha, "How long to toast the bread?"

She said, "Till it's brown. It should take about 4 to 5 minutes on broil."

So, looking at my cell phone again, I pop the bread in the oven at 9:37 and turn the broil on (no preheating). Two minutes later (at 9:39) I tell my roommate to start heating up the sauce and shrimp that I had set on the back burner. After a minute, Tabitha asks, "What's burning?"

I check my noodles, it's not them. She quickly checks the sauce. She notices smoke coming up from the eye and she says, "Ah, must be something on the eye
that's burning. Man, the fire alarm is going to go off with all this smoke." The fire alarm does go off and she and Timothy run to open the doors and let Tropical Depression Ida clear the house.

So it's 9:41 and I'm draining my noodles. I'm noticing the smoke doesn't seem to be lessoning. I look back at the stove and think, "What the hell? The green beans are burning! Smoke's rising up from them? And damnit, smoke's coming from the sause?!?"

So I turn off the stove and Tabitha shouts, "The smoke's coming from the oven!"

I open the oven and there's a tiny burst of flame. The bread is black as coal and one of them is on fire! Tabitha shouts, "Get it out April!" But Timothy beats me to it. He gets a potholder and pulls it out. I'm getting a glass of water to pour on them cause I figure we'd be throwing them in the trash and want to douse them before doing so. Tabitha tells Timothy, "Just blow it up and take it outside so the smoke alarm will go off."
He walks outside with them and Tabitha and I about die laughing. We're both leaning on the wall, holding our sides because we're laughing so hard. I'm laughing now just thinking about it.
We're still laughing when he comes back in with an empty sheet. Tabitha tells him, "You're going to have to go pick them up and put them in the trash. We can't leave them outside for the land lady to find. And you better be lucky it's rained the past few days or you would have started a fire throwing them on the pinestraw."

So the rest of dinner was uneventful and the food was good. Tabitha and I would look at each other and crack up laughing. I've never made food catch on fire before, lol. We think something's wrong with the oven. I mean for bread to catch fire in 4 minutes on broil? Anyway, I thought it was pretty funny.
