She had been in Athens for a week while the ship was being overhauled. It gave her time to check out a few quaint shops and visit with some of the people. Saxton had accompanied her on most of her treks but for some reason on this day she felt the need to be alone. It didn't take long to get her things and head for the square. It was market day and she knew there would be a lot of people there bargaining on the wares.

Dressed in a pair of brown leather breeches she wore a white silk blouse that was held together in front with a strand of leather that crisscrossed it. Her black boots showed signs of wear and the cutlass she carried on the side of her waist gave her a feeling of power. Her skin had tanned from all the days in the Sun and this made the blue green in her eyes even more noticeable. Tossing her head she watched her golden hair fly about then fall as it if it were spun gold.

The days had been long and hard, it had not been easy taking control of a pirate ship but she had done it. Saxton was a big help and there were times when she thought she would never make it. Humming to herself she threw the leather bag over her left shoulder and started toward the milling crowds, hoping to purchase some fresh fruit and vegetables.

She had been picking through some of the vegetables at a stand when she heard a familiar voice. Turning in the direction her eyes caught sight of the back of a woman. She was dressed in a pair of black leather breeches and from what she could see the woman was wearing a white blouse. She was tall, and the beautiful head of fiery red hair that bounced with her movements caused Gabrielle to gasp.

Although she had made it through the journey and confronted the obstacles there had been no word of Ann Bounty and she had finally given into the thought she would never see the woman again. Her heart seemed to skip a beat and she felt a sinking sensation in the pit of her stomach. Scrunching up her neck she tried to stop the chills that were traveling up her body.

She began to slowly edge her way through the crowd toward this person. Whispering to herself, "Calm down, it may not be her and you don't want to scare some unsuspecting person."

Knowing what she had just said did not make it any easier as Gabrielle found herself standing behind the woman. People that had been milling around were now staring at her as she reached out and tapped the woman on her right shoulder and said, "Pardon me, but from the back, you remind me of someone I lost long ago." She took a deep breath waiting for the person to either knock her into oblivion or tell her to go chase something."

The statuesque woman slowly turned as she said, "If my ears are not playing tricks on me, I pray the Gods it is you."

As their eyes met the two women seemed to be fixed in the moment. The silence was deafening and the looks on their faces said it all. Gabrielle began to wipe her hands on her breeches as she uttered, "Se..."

Before she could get the words out the woman reached out and wrapped her arms around the Bard. Gabrielle felt herself being pulled into her embrace and she fell into it. Her own arms were now wrapped around the curvaceous body of Ann Bounty. Neither woman would let go as they clung to one another.

Gabrielle could feel the warmth of Sea's lips on her head as the woman placed soft kisses and said, "Gabrielle, is it really you? I have searched for you and the Bounty. I had given up on ever seeing you again. I can't believe you are really here."

Gabrielle's cheek was resting on the woman's bosom as she answered, "I have missed you more than life itself. I have missed you so much! By the Gods Ann Bounty, my life has not been the same. My body has died inside and each day the pain grew worse."

Sea gently pushed her back and stood staring down at the woman that had stolen her heart so long ago. Tears ran down her face as she reached out wiping them off and said, "You are my life. I vowed to come back to you and it was the thought of seeing you again that kept me going."

She was taking in the Bard's clothes and the cutlass as she said, "You are not dressed like a village woman nor a Bard. Are my eyes playing tricks on me? Have you..."
Smiling at her, Gabrielle replied, "I have been taking care of the Bounty and crew."

Stepping several paces back from her Ann grinned and said, "Then it is pirating you are doing? Or, have you turned my ship into an honest one?"

"Your mother thinks it is." Glancing down she realized she had grasped Ann's right hand with such fervor it was changing color and she released her hold. Ann's emerald green eyes sparkled down at her and said, "It's fine, hold me as tightly as you want. To feel your hand in mine, means I am alive once more."

Gabrielle felt the squeeze as Sea grasped her hand and said, "Tell me Gabrielle of Potidaea, have you had time to decide our fates? Will you ever decide to lie next to me again?

A tear fell down her cheek as Gabrielle whispered, "I have been there and you know it, but if you're asking if I want you in my life and in my bed, the answer is yes."

Oblivious to the throngs of curious people Ann Bounty gently pulled Gabrielle toward her. Bringing her head down, slowly her lips found the woman's. It was a gentle touch, almost a hello from an old friend until Gabrielle moaned and uttered, "Gods, I've missed you."

Their lips crushed onto one another's with a fury of passion and love. Each dancing in the passionate throes of a lost love returned and a promise of a loving future. When they finally pulled apart they were met with thunderous applause and found they were the center of attention. Sea grinned at Gabrielle and said, "Enough of this, I think it is time we find ourselves some privacy."

Feeling secure in the woman's embrace Gabrielle whispered, "Are you sure you are up for it, it's been a long..."

Laughing Ann Bounty began to pull her along as she said, "I've been denied for too long and I have a feeling tonight we will both give in to what our bodies have been trying to tell us for such a long time."

Gabrielle hurried along side her and said, "Where are we going?"

Sea stopped and gazed down at her as she answered, "On a boarding, we should have taken the first time."

Gabrielle smiled and said, "It has taken a lot but I know that you are my life and my heart. I'm ready to hoist the mainsail and will be a willing mate of my Captain's orders."

As they hurried through the narrow, winding streets and past the two story houses made of sun dried brick Gabrielle couldn't help notice all the refuse that had been thrown into the streets. One of the many reasons she hated the city. Stopping in front of one of the buildings Sea turned to her and said, "Well, this is my humble abode, it's nothing fancy but it is mine that is as long as I pay the board."

Before Gabrielle could say anything the woman had swept her off her feet and was now carrying her. Wrapping her arms around Sea's neck, Gabrielle stared into her glistening eyes and said, "I can walk. And you have been seriously ill."

"Shh." Placing a moist kiss on Gabrielle's lips, Sea smiled and said, "It is doing me a world of good to have you in my arms."

Reaching down she managed to open the door, then kicked it open with her right foot. Gabrielle was content to lay her head on the woman's shoulder. Knowing she was this close to Sea once more was awakening every fiber of her body and she welcomed the feeling.

Stepping inside, Sea shut the door with her foot, then turned her attention to Gabrielle as she said, "You look mighty comfortable on my shoulder."

Smiling up at her she replied, "The most comfortable I have been in moons."

Easing the woman to the floor she said, "As you can see, it's not the royal castle."

Walking around the small room Gabrielle spied a brazier with charcoal in it. Ann quickly said, "It will warm up the room some when it gets cold. Just have to make sure I don't get too big a fire going because there is only that hole up there to let the smoke out.

Pursing her lips Gabrielle replied, "Seems pretty dangerous to me. I can think of much better ways to keep you warm."

Sea walked over to a table and picked up a flask of port and said, "Have a drink with me. It will warm us both."

Nodding her head Gabrielle said, "Sounds good, give me a chance to remove this." She had reached down and was unbuckling the cutlass. Sea poured the drinks as she walked over and handed one to her and said, "To us and better times."

Gabrielle touched her goblet to the one in Sea's hand and said, "To another chance and a future."

After they had taken several sips, Sea set her goblet down and said, "Go ahead, finish. I'm not going anywhere."

Gabrielle's blue green eyes were gazing at the woman as she said, "Neither am I, it has taken us too much time to get this far and I don't want to take the chance you might disappear again."

Sea had begun to unlace her blouse and when she finished she let it fall open exposing the roundness of her breasts. Gabrielle's voice caught in her throat as her eyes took in every curve. When Sea had finished she sat on a chair and proceeded to remove her boots against Gabrielle's objections. She wanted to do it but Sea would not even hear of it.

Gabrielle had started to remove her own blouse and was stopped by Sea's right hand as the woman said, "No, let me."

A hint of color crept into her face as Gabrielle said, "I'm capable of doing this."

Sea's fingers had already started to untie the leather strand that was holding the blouse together as she said, "This is something I have dreamed of doing for so long, don't deprive me of it. I want to feel and experience everything. With you, my life begins anew."

As the woman's fingers worked their magic on the leather strand she brought her head down and began to place sensuous kisses on Gabrielle's neck. And as the leather was pulled through, her hands reached up and pulled the blouse back, exposing Gabrielle's breasts. She gazed at their beauty as she said, "From the first time I saw you, it was your breasts that caused me to falter. You are so beautiful and all I want to do is savor every second."

She began to glide her tongue in a circular fashion as she slowly traveled down to Gabrielle's waiting nipples. Gabrielle felt she would faint from the sensation she was experiencing as Sea's mouth savored each breast. She thought she had managed the sensations well that is until Sea's right hand reached down and loosened her breeches. Within seconds of doing that Gabrielle could sense the woman's hand sliding down and could feel the woman's fingers wrapping themselves in her curly hair.

Sea could feel the quivering of Gabrielle's body as she savored the nipple with her tongue. She looked up at Gabrielle's face and said, "Are you all right?"

Placing her hands on Sea's shoulders Gabrielle said, "It's just, the emotions, they are overtaking my senses."

Smiling Sea replied, "Good, it means, I am reaching you."

"Reaching me, you are definitely doing that . . . Sea!"

The woman had reached down and pulled as the leather breeches fell to the floor. Then she dropped to her knees her mouth finding its way between Gabrielle's legs
and the treasure she had kept hidden for so long. Sea moaned as her tongue searched and prodded every spot. Each time Gabrielle would tighten up she knew she was close, and when Sea began to tantalize her with quick kisses to her swollen area she thought she would die. It was when she was on the edge, that the woman inserted two fingers into Gabrielle's opening. And within seconds she came in waves of ecstasy, each more powerful than the last. Ann felt her own body pulsate as she experienced the warmth and wetness. Gabrielle had writhed in the woman's caress's. Sea stopped and glanced up at Gabrielle and knew from the look on her face and the feel of her body, Gabrielle had just given herself to her and she needed to feel that sensation one more time. Resting her mouth among the woman's soft hair she began to place soft kisses once more as her tongue darted in and out. Gabrielle placed a hand on Sea's head and said, "Enough, I'm spent, Se..."

Before she could get the word out, Sea had found her jewel and began to caress it. Then she brought her tongue down to her silken opening and began to lap at the moistness that was pouring forth. Gabrielle was aware of Sea's tongue as it began to dart in and out and she writhed from the feeling. As she came once more in the final burst of heat within her that left her sweating and shaking as she cried in rapture.

Slowly Sea got to her feet. Desire heavy on her face as she reached out and picked Gabrielle up and said, "I plan on showing you how much I love you the rest of this day and night."

Feeling warm all over Gabrielle traced a pattern of love as her lips sought the woman's neck."

Sea pulled her mouth to hers once more, feeding on her lips, plucking at them gently with her own. Gabrielle murmured, "Gods Sea, I never dreamed it could be so wonderful." She pulled her chest to her and gently rubbed her naked breasts against the woman's, all the while watching her eyes following her every movement.

It wasn't long before she carried Gabrielle to the bed and gently laid her down. Gabrielle stared up at the woman as she bent down and reached up placing her hands on the breasts that were now tempting her. Sea placed a kiss on each of her hands and said, "It is I that will never get enough of you, for now, let me make love to you."

Feeling Sea's nipples as they succumbed to her caress she smiled and said, "I've wanted to touch you like this for a long time. Now I can and it's more than I ever dreamed it would be."

Laying down beside Gabrielle, Sea held out her right arm and said, "Come, lay on my shoulder. For this moment I want to hold you next to me, I want to feel you move under my hand, Hades be dammed, I want to love you as you have never been."

Snuggling close to the woman, Gabrielle felt the warmth of her skin and listened to the heartbeat as she said, "We have the rest of our lives."

Feeling her body against her, Sea softly said, "It will be a time for exploring every facet of our bodies. I want to make love to you and feel your body as it gives itself to me over and over. We have wasted so much time, I plan on making good use of the rest of our lives. Tell me, my guiding light, what you desire and I will make it come true."

Placing a tender kiss on Sea's chest, Gabrielle replied, "I desire only you in my life. My prayers and dreams have been answered. I want only to go to sleep and wake with you this close to me for all eternity."

Smiling Ann replied, "Your wish is my command because I will never see another night without you in it. You are my hope my salvation and my love. I think I will call you Star from now on."
"Star? That is unusual why Star? What is wrong with Gabrielle?"

Hugging the woman closer to her Sea replied, "Because you guided me, you have been there for me and you are the light that brought me out of darkness, you are my Star."

Smiling Gabrielle said, "Star, I like it. Sea and Star, I think the merchant ships had better run for cover."

Sea sighed and said, "Knowing you, I am content to have you with me for the rest of my life. You have brought a peace to a very tormented pirate." She brought her head down as her hand tilted the Bard's head she kissed her gently. It was a kiss that told both of them all they needed to know as Gabrielle greeted the touch with her own sensual rhythm.
