Here's a truly intriguing dark tale that might seem to be just another PI tale at first glance. A.C. Henley has masterfully constructed a gritty tale whose center is the dark enigmatic Quin McKee, a PI who does not play by the rules and yet gets the job done. She has friends in high places and in the lowest depths and her heart is something else...fraught with a world of hurt and then some. As the story opens, in crossing paths with those she once called friends after a three years absence, she now meets detective Vivian Walsh, one tough cop that might change her ways and mend some fences. But can the tall blonde break through the barriers and really get through to KcKee?
