Definitely worth the read - this story in particular and its sequels. The plot is very intriguing and definitely *not* one of the ones too frequently undertaken, and is handled with the appropriate sincerity. Found it quite believable and utterly enchanting. You will like this story if you like having Xena and Gabrielle "settled" down like a married couple. This was a long romantic series that goes on a rewarding journey of the ups and downs of a committed couple. It's one of the many stories out there that "settles" the couple down into domestic bliss.
