Great and well-thought Conqueror story! The characters are really awesome and not like in the most Conquerors I have read. These are more like original Xena and Gabrielle, just with different past which influenced them.

It only shows the love Melissa has for the characters and the world she has created. Dar and Kerry (and every other character)are multifaceted and polychromatic. They are tangible and real, just as their love for one another. They embed themselves into your psyche, it's inevitable! Melissa's descriptions are visually rich and satisfying. The very present erotic moments are handled in a tactful, gentle and "just enough" manner. The dialogues are the best I have ever read. Nothing feels forced. The story flows and the characters flow with it. Everything happens at the right moment. If I could only read one fanfiction author, it would be Melissa Good. First I started off reading the first part, of the story, on this site but I couldn't find second link. So I google it, and found it on another xena site where I got to read full ten character before hiding another brick wall, part 11 didn't work.
