My Osage certainly has a unique and fertile imagination with this story in the very unique "gift" she gives Xena for a brief time. Teaser:  While staying at the Amazon village, warrior and bard encounter Kierra, an amazon warrior they have never met before who seems to have a rather sad past. When Kierra shows more than a casual interest in the warrior princess Gabrielle begins to worry and fears she is losing her beloved warrior. The situation becomes even more complicated when Ephiny reveals her feelings for a certain warrior.

Delightful to read a tale in which, for once, it is XENA who gets some "attention" in a love scene. (I swear I was about to start the Equal Orgasms for the Warrior Princess Society.) Very nice progression to the story. Well-written. SPOILERS AHEAD: I love that the Amazons (except Ephiny) think Xe and Gab are lovers and Gab doesn't feel the need to correct that misapprehension--and that one of them at least seems to take Xena's side on the presumed issue. Nice to see one of those warriors identify more with Xena than Gabrielle since, after all, they would have more in common with Xena. This would be a 10 on the Spice Index for me if only there'd been a little more time spent on the climactic (haha) scene and on description of Xena's responses. - TrekInTandem - Jul-09-2014
