Bridget's (Gabrielle's) aunt Janice & Mel Pappas are also featured in the story and as it so happens Alex, an orphan, looks like Mel Pappas' twin. Add to the mystery birth records that show Alex was born in North Carolina, Mel's hometown. Now, if Bridget can find out why someone wants her dead, the sooner she can turn her focus on to Alex.
