| I enjoyed this short story. It gave me a glance into the world of auditions and the things it might involve. I could see Jennie and how she felt reading with a fabulous and acclaimed actress. Eyes are the mirror into ones soul they say and I could see all this in Lacey and Jennie. The two women clicked in the beginning and for sure magical things will happen from now on. | I absolutely loved Fire Within it is-- non stop, action packed, with a great story line. I stayed up till 4 am one morning, to finish it! Loved the combination of mystery, murder, love, and monster. I plan to read everything of yours. Have started your new story and it is wonderful to see Skylar and the characters from Fire Within back. Love what I am reading. Keep writing. - Joan - Jan-07-2008 I am enjoying this story. Was very happy to see she is writing a sequel to this wonderful story. Captive Hearts has taken me back to these great characters. I love Skylar,think she is one beautiful fantastic woman, but have to say, Tara Coltrane is making a good mark on the reader. This last chapter of CH, brought the woman back. Looks like she will be working with Skylar to find Bobby. I see a lot of excitement and close encounters coming. Took me awhile to keep reading but I am now hooked on this story. Have read Fire Within and love this story also. The two women were so real, I was there. Every moment along this incredible journey. Each character, every place written with such clarity. I loved the town, the people, the surrounding areas. Well, not all the people, some really are scoundrels. I have found that Captive Hearts brings many of the wonderful characters back to the reader. It is great that Sky has a nemeses like Tara. She can be bad, and really bad, yet she can also been dearing. Have to say the two would make a really great team. There would never be a moment of dullness around these two. Then I also have to say, Sky and Bobie are a fabulous couple. From the beginning in Fire Within to now. | This story has it all: action, comedy, drama, a little heartache, a lot of romance, and a mystery that has me pointing fingers at a half-dozen characters. This is another great story from the talented and popular author, Anita Louise. You will cringe at times, put new wrinkles in your forehead trying to figure out the who the numerous bad guys are and get a free suntan following the characters to valleys & desert locations. The gals are gorgeous, lovable, funny and fend quite well dealing with the bad guys. Not much this story failed to weave well into it pages. Don't miss this one and encourage the bard to write a sequel. This adventure has been amazing. It was written so well, I felt everything. Every step Skylar and Bobie took, so did I. I felt like I was in Springfield, what an amazing town, and the people, wow, so real. Anita wove, adventure, romance, compassion, the supernatural, so many fantastic people each brought out wonderfully. There is so much this story entails, so many moments where one may tremble, sit on the edge of their chair, biting their fingernails, feeling every emotion, and loving it. The second Skylar Richmond stepped off the plane, after it landed at the airport in Springfield, one could sense a spark had begun. I have looked forward to another of Anita Louises great stories.
