Current Monarch:  The Crest of Amyra is outside the borders of Y'Myran, and therefor has no known monarch.
Royal Device:  The device used by the High King's heralds to represent these lands is, on a snowy night sky, a single eight pointed star
Capitol City:  There are no known cities
Population:  There is no accurate accounting of the population, though at one time, a race of barbarian tribesmen claimed the area as their own.

The glacial sheet to the far north of the Crest of Amyra, a mountain range that extends along a west-to-east  line across the entire continent, was once thought to be the home of the rimerbeasts (ice demons) that plagued the northern kingdoms.  However, when this was proven untrue, the land was left unexplored.  Because of the perment ice sheet, the land cannot be farmed, and the brutal temperatures make looking for precious metals an exercise in tempting the kindness of the gods.

Perhaps as few as two generations ago, it was known that a race of barbarians whose ancestors had been here before the Firstlanders arrived called the Crest home, but there has been no recent contact.

Founder: none.  The mountain range has borne the name of Amyra for centuries.  Some say it is named for a powerful mage that, in the last days before the great war that turned the verdant land that is now Y'Skan into a desert, made the mountains his home.
