I just finished the whole Time Flies series. I really love the relationship between Lara and Sarah. It makes me realize how wrong the producers of the movies are. I would agree that this story is on many levels a good one, and I did enjoy reading it. There is one thing however that really bothered me and that I can't seem to move past. When we first meet Veba, she has the emotional maturity of a small child, and yet Rickie immediately has an overt sexual interest in her. That part not only doesn't ring true for me, it really puts me off. When they meet, Rickie knows nothing about Veba expect that she is emotionally stuck at a 6 year old level...and she immediately falls for Veba and wants to get her into bed? Hmmmm.
