      • Honor Among Thieves By Sage Hamilton (Original / Uber - Modern, 300 Pages - Unfinished)
I very seldom read unfinished stories but I made an exception for this one. I nearly cried when I realized I had misread the review dates only to discover the story hasn't been touched in years. I misread and thought the story was recent and might be continued to the end. Great, fun read but be prepared to come to a screeching halt long after you get sucked into the storyline. If you can handle the angst, go fot it. - Katelyn - Jan-16-2008

      • The Poetics and Politics of Kink By Penumbra (Original / Uber - Modern, 47 Pages)
The final part - unfortunately - to an outstanding series. One of the best out there. Two marvellously portrayed main characters combined with a good supporting "cast", intelligent, challenging plots, well-timed/paced dialogue that is at times viciously sharp and at others just as witty. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for more than fluffy vanilla-bunnies. This entire series is highly intense and not for the faint of heart! - anygma - Jan-09-2008
      • Miracle By Fingersmith (Original / Uber - Modern, 246 Pages)

      • The Last Hurrah! By J. W. Heart (Original / Uber - Modern, 41 Pages)
Amazing, doesn't even do this serious justice. You feel like you've known these characters forever. Every single one of the parts are fanatstic. You will not be disappointed. I can't believe more comments haven't been left. My only gripe is not knowing what happens with Rudys love interest. - brighteyez - Jan-08-2008

      • Differing Shades of Grey By Hillsys Stalker (X:WP, 176 Pages)
I loved the story, but I absolutely detest how it ends. I feel like the ending was rushed, and left alot of unanswered questions and unresolved issues. It definetly needed a sequel or atleast a lengthy epilogue. - Brighteyez - Jan-08-2008

I'm sure all of us feel it's nearly unnecessary to praise this writer. Oh, well. I will. I hated the first part, because I hated Xena's return to violence, but--it was a fantastic read. A real page turner (browser refresher).

      • Publishing Announcement from KG MacGregor -

I'm excited to announce the return of Anna & Lily in Without Warning, the first book in The Shaken Series. If you've been following my blog, you already know that Bella Books is bringing back the stories of Shaken, Stirred & Strained, all under individual covers with new and expanded scenes. Without Warning is now ready for pre-order from Bella, and will ship on January 14th. When I announced Bella's re-release of Mulligan, The House on Sandstone & Malicious Pursuit, I advised you to save your nickels if you already had a previous edition. Not so with Without Warning. This isn't the condensed version of Shaken that was previously published. It's just the first story, and it's been totally rewritten with the hope of expanding the series for as long as Anna & Lily have stories to tell. Those buying directly from Bella Books will get an autographed token of thanks. Please visit the Book Page at my website to read the synopsis, the inspiration for these stories and Chapter 1.

      • The Growing By Susanne M. Beck (Sword'n'Quill), T Novan, Okasha (Original / Uber - Futuristic, 652 Pages)
Growing is an extremely well written story by two authors I cannot praise enough!!! Highly imaginative with well developed characters who wind their away around your heart so that by the end you simply do not want to let them go. And I simply must thank the authors for making us wait awhile before bringing the two characters together...how I love a slow progression of dawning love rather than two characters drooling over each other and sharing the sheets within a day of meeting each other. Thank you! - JC - Jan-03-2008
      • If...This Had Been The Beginning By planetsolin (X:WP, 96 Pages)
If you like conqueror stories, read this wonderful series. This one has everyone we know and love/hate including Alti, Callisto, Caesar, Amazons, Solon, Ares, Dite, Cyrene, Artemis and even the befuddled Joxer the Mighty (something). This series is a six story arc so give yourself time to enjoy. I had some issues with events toward the end, and didn't really understand the title of the first story until the end of the sixth, but maybe that was the point. If you see Xena as an incarnation of the Conqueror; almost two different people, then you'll enjoy her stuggle throughout the series. I hated that Lila called her "Gabby", petty I know. Not a big Lila fan. - gayzer - Jan-03-2008

      • One Woman Too Much By IseQween (X:WP, 19 Pages)
No one is better than Iseqween at penning our favorite heroes as "real" people. In this effort, Gabrielle is very "young", and Xena is very "old"; it's a journey of discovery and acceptance, accented with the thoughts of a young poet and an old warrior. The Qween's last story travelled far into the future; this one returns to the beginning. What an amazing writer. Read her. - osb - Jan-01-2008

      • The Sum of Her Parts By Patricia L. Givens (DAx) (Star Trek: Voyager - Futuristic, 47 Pages)
Once again I found myself drawn into a new genre by this author/artist. This authors watchword must be "Perfection" because her attention to detail, characterization and continuity shine in this wonderful story. Set in the time when Voyager returns to the Alpha Quadrant this tale tells us what becomes of all of our favorite crew members. This story has it all, action, romance and good dose of humor in all the right places! Im off to find everything else this author has written... - Anonymous - Dec-31-2007
